MaskOn teamed up with Ancient8 to empower GameFi scholars
Thousands of scholarships from Ancient8 have been given to the community, for Axie Infinity and CyBall players. However, a problem arises when underprivileged scholars cannot afford a smartphone device.
The complicated evolution of the COVID-19 Omicron variant has caused a new wave of infections throughout Vietnam. The consequences continue to weigh on the economy. In particular, the unemployment rate for young people aged 15-24 in urban areas is twice as high as in rural areas (GSO). The Play-to-Earn model with gaming guilds helps mitigate the negative impact of the pandemic on the younger generation. Thousands of scholarships from Ancient8 have been given to the community, for Axie Infinity and CyBall players. However, a problem arises when underprivileged scholars cannot afford a smartphone device.
On our journey to reach and empower millions of young people to become Metaverse citizens, Ancient8 is fortunate to have many partners to accompany and support the community. We are deeply grateful for the valuable and practical contribution from MaskOn, where the project donated 50 Vsmart Joy 4 smartphones, as a warm sharing for our scholar’s difficult cases. Smartphones are not only an effective tool for scholars to play games to improve their income but also a clear demonstration of the nation's precious spirit of "Good leaves protect torn leaves".
The Ancient8 team will carefully select charity recipients to spread the light of MaskOn’s torch. We will send it directly to those in need the most so that they can start earning money as soon as possible. We hope this donation will be a motivation for our scholars to rise up and be more confident on the journey to conquer the Metaverse.
