We at Ancient8 are excited to announce the completion of a US$6 million private round of financing led by Makers Fund, with participation from existing and new investors Pantera Capital, 6th Man Ventures, IOSG Ventures, Folius Ventures, Morningstar Ventures, Sky9 Capital, Th3ia Capital, Play Ventures, Mirana Ventures (Venture Partner of Bybit and BitDAO), Sanctor Capital, DWeb3, IBA, Richard Ma, K300 Ventures, GFS Ventures, HC Ventures, Playgrnd Ventures, Cozomo de’ Medici, Astrapto Capital among others. This round of financing brings Ancient8’s total capital raised to US$10M.
Ancient8 is building the infrastructure for GameFi with a focus on software and community. We help GameFi studios reach passionate gamers and run web3-native targeted advertising through our GameFi Identity product and Launchpads. Gamers and crypto communities will soon be able to create GameFi identity profiles to track and showcase their achievements in Web3, discover high quality blockchain games, and access guild scholarships and blockchain education more effectively.
On our mission to reach, educate, and empower the first native generation of Metaverse citizens, we have already built an active community of 200K+ members, providing GameFi education through the Ancient8 Blog, Twitter, Discord, and Ancient8 Research Portal—the first institutional-grade research portal for GameFi. Ancient8 manages the largest blockchain gaming guild in Vietnam with 3,500+ scholars using our own guild management software, and have partnered with 25+ top-tier GameFi projects to date including Axie Infinity, CyBall, Phantom Galaxies, Bigtime, Tatsumeeko, Delysium, Blast Royale, Apeiron, Angelic and many more.

In the coming months, we will launch our GameFi Identity product and a pair of GameFi Token and NFT Launchpads designed to enhance the go-to-market strategy of Web3 games. These products will help us connect top blockchain games with our deeply engaged global community of GameFi enthusiasts and enable users to enjoy the most intuitive experience possible in the world of Web3.
