Ancient8 2.0: The Expansion

The day has arrived! With the unveiling of Ancient8 2.0, we reinforce and expand our vision of democratizing social and financial access in the metaverse. This is a step towards bringing greater value to our guild by building Ancient8’s DAO, and enriching the wider blockchain gaming community through original GameFi infrastructure.

As GameFi and the Metaverse continue to expand and evolve, Ancient8 continues to connect players with the best projects. Consequently, we’re developing a strong, sustainable, and vibrant community ecosystem, built on the foundational trio of Community, Partners, and Investors. But this was only the beginning.

We’ve previously shared our mission to reach, educate, and empower the next 100 million Metaverse citizens. But what does that actually look like? With the initiatives outlined below, we are taking decisive steps toward making this dream a reality.

From humble beginnings... to the rise of Ancient8

Let’s take a moment to acknowledge how far we’ve come. It all began with a small group of GameFi enthusiasts called 68gaming, whose passion for Play-to-earn games led them to share insights, stories, and many memes. Ever since these humble beginnings, everything has come together naturally and with that same spirit— To this day, members of A8 are building lasting friendships and supporting each other every day.

As the community grew, the admins stepped up and organized a proper gaming guild: Ancient8. By providing scholarships to great games, the guild has created tremendous value for the community, and the results have been astounding; we currently have over 3,000 scholarships and over 64,000 active users on Discord.

Now we begin our next phase, with a focus on infrastructure development. As you’ll see in the coming months, Ancient8 is building a foundation for the sustainable, long-term development of gaming guild communities and the GameFi industry at large.

Unlocking the boundless potential of Ancient8

Scholarships may always be the primary service of most gaming guilds... But we are not most gaming guilds. We know that with the support of our backers and Vietnam's largest blockchain gaming community, we have so much more to offer our industry, and the world.

Together, we will unlock the boundless potential of Ancient8 2.0 through these objectives:

• Accelerate the growth of GameFi industry through enriching the infrastructure layer with new applications and software.
• Empower leadership by building a suite of practical toolkits for investors, partners, and the community.
• Democratize the gaming guild model by building towards becoming a DAO. As a first step, we’ve established a dozen sub-guilds that are already managing CyBall scholarships.
• Provide access to the emerging Metaverse through education, research and web3 products.
